Mumbai Covid vaccine scam: Probe says victims given saline water, all to undergo antibody tests

Maharashtra health minister Rajesh Tope on Tuesday said that investigations carried out so far have revealed that victims of the vaccine scam in Mumbai were given saline water. He said BMC will check all victims for antibodies and write to the Centre if it is found that they need to be re-vaccinated.

Maharashtra health minister Rajesh Tope on Tuesday said that all victims of the vaccine scam in Mumbai will undergo antibody tests and will be administered two doses of Covishield vaccine after the state writes to the government of India. He said that the victims, according to investigations so far, seem to have been given saline water.
