Mumbai court rejects Gehana Vasisth pre-arrest bail in porn films case, says charges very serious

The Mumbai Police had alleged that Gehana Vasisth had compelled the victim to do a kiss and sex scene. The police further alleged that by mixing something in the juice of the victim, two boys did an intimate scene with her while she was in bare-minimum clothes.
The Mumbai Sessions Court rejected Gehana Vasisth’s anticipatory bail application in the porn films case, saying the allegations against the actor are very serious.Judge Sonali P Agarwal said, “These are all very serious allegations which need to be investigated. There are no reasonable grounds to grant anticipatory bail.”This was after a victim said in her statement that she got acquainted with Vasisth in February 2020 and agreed to do a web series with her. The victim said that the shooting was to be done in a bungalow in the Madh area of Mumbai.She was told that the series will be released on the Hotshots App by Bollywood actor Shilpa Shetty’s husband and businessman, Raj Kundra.The Mumbai Police had alleged that Gehana Vasisth had compelled the victim to do a kiss and sex scene. The police further alleged that by mixing something in the juice of the victim, two boys did an intimate scene with her while she was in bare-minimum clothes.The victim alleged that all those scenes were shot by Vasisth in the capacity of the director. The victim was promised that vulgar scenes will be edited. But the web series published in November 2020 featured those scenes without editing. He also said that Vasisth had supported Kundra who is still in jail in a case registered in February. Kundra was arrested on July 19 and has fled a bail plea that will be heard next week.Vasisth will file an appeal against judge Agarwal’s order soon to seek pre-arrest bail from the Bombay High Court. The current case pertains to the second FIR registered against Vasisth. She was arrested in connection with the first FIR in February and later released on bail.More Related News
