Mumbai court orders to take down online game that damages Salman Khan's image

Salman Khan had filed a complaint against the creators of Selmon Bhai, a video game that damages his image. A Mumbai court has now ordered to take down the game.
A Mumbai court has ordered Selmon Bhoi, a game that sounded and looked like Salman Khan, to be taken down from Google Play Store until the issue is resolved. The order was passed after Salman Khan filed a complaint seeking perpetual injunction against the company, Parody Studios Private Limited and Google LLC. Salman stated in his plea that the title of the game, Selmon Bhoi, sounded phonetically similar to what he is popularly called by his fans - Salman Bhai. He added that the images in the game were also a caricature version of himself. He also stated that the game included scenes which were similar to the alleged cases - the hit-and-run case and the Blackbuck case - involving Salman. Both the cases were sub-judice before courts, leading to interference with the administration of justice.More Related News
