A special court in Mumbai granted default bail to an accused in a drug case after the investigating agency delayed the filing of the chargesheet by one day. Accused Nachiket Borker, who hails from Nagpur, was arrested by the Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) of Mumbai police on May 7 when he was allegedly found in possession of a commercial quantity of drugs. Under the sections Borker was charged with, the maximum punishment is ten years imprisonment. In such cases, the investigating agency has to file its chargesheet within 60 days.More Related News
