Mumbai: Court acquits biker booked for killing pedestrian, says victim didn't use zebra crossing

A court in Mumbai acquitted a biker on charges of rash driving after it found that the woman he hit was not crossing the road using a zebra crossing.

A Mumbai court acquitted a biker on charges of negligence and rash driving after it found that the woman he hit was not crossing the road from the zebra crossing. "Pedestrians are not supposed to cross Eastern Express Highway unless there is a zebra crossing," the court observed.
