The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation has expelled two health workers for leaving an elderly patient unattended at the KEM Hospital gate.
After a video of a senior citizen lying unattended at the gate of King Edward Memorial Hospital in Mumbai went viral, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation on Saturday expelled two health workers who have been held responsible. The incident took place on Friday night. Manish Raul, a resident of Parel where the hospital is located, saw two ward boys leaving the patient on the road. According to Raul, the patient was alive, without a mask and could not walk. He took a video of the patient lying outside Gate Number 6 (mortuary gate) of the hospital.More Related News
