A burnt body of a man was found in Mumbai's Antop Hill area today, following which the police filed a case. Police said that the murder took place on Sunday night and the matter is under investigation.
Mumbai police filed a case after a burnt body of a man was allegedly found in the Antop Hill area of the city. Police launched an investigation to arrest the unidentified killers, reported news agency ANI.
Mumbai Police were quoted by ANI as saying, "A case has been registered for allegedly killing a man and burning his body in the Antop Hill area of Mumbai. The matter is under investigation." (sic).

The deceased has been identified as Abdul Salam Munawar Ali Sayyed (29). Police told the Indian Express that the deceased was first called to a godown near Sector 1 and then murdered. The body was first spotted by a local resident who then alerted the police.
Police said that the victim died of a head injury and the murder took place on Sunday night.
