Mukul Sangma unanimously elected as Meghalaya TMC chief, to meet Mamata Banerjee on Nov 29

Mukul Sangma was unanimously elected as the leader of TMC party in Meghalaya.

Former Chief Minister of Meghalaya Dr Mukul Sangma, who along with 11 MLAs had resigned from the Congress party and joined All India Trinamool Congress (AITMC), has been elected as Meghalaya TMC party chief.

The decision was taken during the first parliamentary party meeting of the newly formed Meghalaya unit of TMC party held in Shillong on Friday.
