Mrunal Thakur says she can never get Kareena Kapoor’s Jab We Met out of her system. Here’s why

Mrunal Thakur recently talked about taking charge of her own life. Recalling Kareena Kapoor’s Jab We Met dialogue about making her own decisions, Mrunal said that she cannot let anyone else decide things for her.
Mrunal Thakur has successfully transitioned from television to films and believes in making her own decisions. The actress graced the cover of this Harper Bazaar India’s this month for its 13th Anniversary issue and talked about taking charge of her own life. She said she can’t get Jab We Met out of her system because of Kareena Kapoor’s “Ye mere decisions hai” dialogue in the film.
Mrunal Thakur has made her own space in Bollywood and there’s no stopping her. This is because of the decisions she has made, and the actress admitted to being influenced by Kareena Kapoor’s Geet from Jab We Met.
The actress told Harper’s Bazaar India, “I can never get Jab We Met out of my system, especially when Geet [essayed by Kareena Kapoor Khan] says, ‘Ye mere decisions hai’ [These are my decisions]. Today, I decide for myself because I know the consequences will be mine. I want to take charge of my life; not sit around and let someone else decide for me (sic).”
Mrunal Thakur has a slew of upcoming projects. She will be seen in Jersey with Shahid Kapoor. Directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, the sports drama is the Hindi remake of Nani’s Telugu film of the same title. Mrunal also has Pippa with Shahid’s brother, Ishaan Khatter, lined up. Besides these, she will be seen in Hindi remake of Thadam with Aditya Roy Kapoor.
