MP CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Congress leader Kamal Nath's 'chance' meeting at a hangar has kicked up a political storm.
A 'chance' meeting between Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and former CM Kamal Nath at a hangar has kicked up a political storm.
After photos and videos of CM Chouhan and Congress leader Nath's 'meeting' at a hangar went viral, it became news headlines because, in contrast, another Congress leader, Digvijaya Singh, was staging a protest near the barricades outside the chief minister’s office for not being given an audience with the CM.
Singh wanted to meet Chauhan to discuss the issue of displacement of villagers due to the Tame Irrigation project.
Notably, after his meeting with Chauhan, Nath joined Singh's protest outside the CMO.
When Nath was asked about his meeting with Chauhan at the state hangar which lasted around 20 minutes, he said, “We met accidentally as I was returning from Chhindwara and the CM was leaving for Dewas. We stopped and had a conversation.”
