In Madhya Pradesh’s Sagar district, 23 mucormycosis patients developed mild adverse reactions to amphotericin B lipid complex injections. The doctors at Bundelkhand Medical College have now stopped the use of the injection.
At Bundelkhand Medical College (BMC) in Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh, 23 mucormycosis patients developed mild adverse reactions after being administered the new amphotericin B lipid complex injections. The doctors at the hospital controlled the adverse reactions using other medicines and immediately stopped the use of this injection. The condition of all patients is stable. The Madhya Pradesh government had on Sunday sent 120 amphotericin B lipid complex injections for the treatment of 37 mucormycosis (or black fungus) patients admitted at BMC. The new injections were administered to 25 patients under the supervision of doctors.More Related News
