Motorola has not confirmed the launch timeline of the Moto G62 5G at the time of writing this. However, it looks like the G-series budget 5G smartphone is expected to launch soon in the global market. We can expect the phone to launch soon in India as well. While we wait for some details about the launch, here’s a quick look at what has leaked so far.
The Moto G62 will sport a hole-punch display at the front with thin bezels around the screen. According to the WinFuture report, the phone will feature a 6.5-inch Full HD+ display. It will also come with support for a 120Hz refresh rate. It is being speculated that the phone has an AMOLED display as there is no rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The hole-punch cutout will house a 16MP front camera sensor. Motorola will launch the phone with a triple-camera setup on the back. There will be a 50MP main camera sensor, an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro sensor, according to the leaked details.
The phone is said to record up to 1080p video due to the processor’s limitations. While we are at it, the Moto G62 5G is said to draw power from a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480+ SoC. The chipset is likely to be paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. There will be support for storage expansion via a microSD card.
The device will pack a 5000 mAh battery and is expected to come with 30W fast charging support. According to WinFuture, the phone is expected to be priced at around 300 (roughly Rs 25,000).
