U.S. President Donald Trump on Thursday unveiled a temporary rollback to steep tariffs targeting Canada and Mexico, providing some reprieve to companies and consumers after sustained blowback on global markets.
The Economic Offences Court in Bengaluru has reserved the order for Friday and will decide whether to grant Ranya bail or give her custody to the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI). Ranya, who is currently in judicial custody, moved the court seeking bail but the DRI objected and sought her custody for further interrogation as they “recovered evidence following her arrest” needing corroboration.
