Nithari killings: Noida residents’ body to move SC against Allahabad HC order
A residents’ body in Noida on October 23 said it will move the Supreme Court against the Allahabad High Court’s recent order acquitting domestic help Surendra Koli and his employer Moninder Singh Pandher in the 2006 Nithari serial killings.
UN General Assembly to meet over Israel-Hamas war on Thursday
The UN General Assembly will meet on October 26 to discuss the conflict triggered by the attack by Hamas militants on Israel, its President announced Monday in a letter to member states. Prior to the General Assembly gathering on October 26 at 10:00 a.m. (1400 GMT), the Security Council will meet to discuss the issue. This long-planned meeting is expected to be attended by some of the world’s Foreign Ministers.
