More Muslims killed by terrorists in 17 years than Kashmiri Pandits, tweets Congress; deletes it later

The Kerala unit of the Congress tweeted that 399 Kashmiri Pandits were killed by terrorists between 1990 and 2007 while the number of Muslim casualties was 15,000. However, the party deleted the tweet later.
As the movie — The Kashmir Files — received critical acclaim, the Congress on Monday sought to clarify that Kashmiri Pandits were the victims of terrorism and so were Muslims.
The Kashmir Files claims to show the plight of Kashmiri Pandits during the exodus in the late 1980s.

The Kerala unit of the Congress, at first, tried to equate the number of Kashmir Pandit fatalities with those of Muslims in a tweet, saying: “It was the terrorists who targeted the Pandits. In 17 years (1990-2007), 399 Kashmiri Pandits were killed in terrorist attacks. The number of Muslims killed by terrorists in the same period was 15,000.”
This was the first in a series of tweets, marked (1/n). However, the Congress deleted the tweet later.
“Even in the 1948 communal riots after partition, over 1,00,000 Kashmiri Muslims were killed in Jammu, but there were no retaliatory killings of Pandits. Pandits are victims of terrorism like other Kashmiris,” it said in another tweet.
