100 more oxygenated beds to be made available for COVID-19 treatment at renovated hospital
Mysuru is reporting more COVID-19 deaths as patients from Kodagu, Chamarajanagar and also from Bengaluru city were being rushed here in critical stages. More patients from neighbouring districts are being shifted to Mysuru out of fear which needs to go and everyone has to work together to expunge panic about the contagion, said Minister in charge of Mysuru district S.T. Somashekar. The Minister was in Hunsur on Wednesday to take stock of COVID-19 situation in the taluk. Later, presiding over a meeting on the steps to be taken for combating the pandemic, he said not all patients need oxygenated beds but the people think otherwise and seek such beds for patients. The onus is on the officials to persuade the public on patients in need of such beds.More Related News
