MoPH reports 156 new cases, 337 recoveries

Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) today reported 156 new cases of coronavirus (Covid-19) and 337 people recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of people recovered in Qatar to 212,716. Out of 156 new cases, 98 are community cases and 58 from travellers returning from abroad. The ministry also announced the death of two people aged 53 and 56, taking the total death toll as of today to 554.  The total number of positive Covid-19 cases recorded in Qatar till now is 217,041 and there are 3,771 active cases under treatment.
