Monkeypox: Centre's High-Level Meet Today, 9 Cases Reported So Far

The review meeting comes a day after India reported its ninth case of the disease on Wednesday.
A high-level meeting is taking place in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare over the rising cases of Monkeypox in the country. The meeting, which began at 10 am, is being attended by top health experts from National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) and the World Health Organization, or WHO.
The review meeting comes a day after India reported its ninth case of the disease on Wednesday. A 31-year-old man with no foreign travel history was diagnosed with the disease in Delhi -- the fourth such case in the national capital.
