Vor einem Jahr kam ein neues Brustkrebsmittel auf den Markt. Es war der Antikörper namens Sacituzumab und richtete sich gegen die wohl aggressivste Form von Mammakarzinomen - den metastasierten triple-negativen Brustkrebs. Chemotherapie war bislang die einzige Behandlungsform für Patientinnen - doch bis zu 15 Prozent sprechen nicht darauf an. Sie sterben – innerhalb eines halben Jahres. Mit Sacituzumab könnte sich das ändern. An dem Antikörper hängt ein Wirkstoff, der die Tumorzellen tötet.
