MoI to host virtual seminar on common traffic mistakes for Indian community

Doha: The Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Interior in association with Traffic Awareness Department under the General Directorate of Traffic will be organizing a virtual awareness seminar on "Common Traffic Mistakes among Drivers" for the members of the Indian community tomorrow, Thursday, April 15, 2021 from 9pm – 10.30pm through Zoom Video Conferencing application. The event is organized as part of "Safe Ramadan Campaign" with objective of raising the awareness on road safety among the road users and the public.
During the seminar, the officers from the Traffic Department will be sharing valuable information related with red signal crossing, seatbelt safety, risks of using mobile phone while driving, smart traffic signals, Covid-19 protocols while driving, traffic statistics for the year 2020, overtaking from right, traffic surveillance cameras, minor accidents, yellow box at intersections, risks over speeding, tips for safe driving during the holy month of Ramadan, safety at signals, safe track on the road and pedestrian safety. The main targeted audience of this virtual seminar are members of the Indian community in Qatar and the public also can attend the seminar.
