Mohena Kumari Singh of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai fame is expecting her first baby with husband Suyesh Rawat. She shared the good news with her fans in February. The actress's husband, her sister-in-law Vasundhara Rajlaxmi, and friends Amey Mehta and Shompa Gopikrishna threw a surprise baby shower for her, which made her emotional.
Mohena Kumari Singh and her friend Amey Mehta shared a video from the surprise baby shower where the Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actress can be seen getting emotional and having a gala time at the bash.
In the video, Mohena enters the venue and is in tears seeing all the arrangements. She can also be seen playing fun games with Suyesh and cutting a cake. Sharing the video, Amey wrote, "After planning and planning we were finally able to pull off this surprise baby shower for my dearest friend @mohenakumari @vasundhrarajlaxmi @iamshampagopikrishna and I with the help of @suyeshrawat managed successfully to keep this a secret from her for a while. We all can’t wait to hold ‘Baby Rawat’ in our arms soon! I am sure Mohena and Suyesh will be fabulous parents, considering they have us as their friends. We love you. And go be the amazing parents you two are meant to be #BabyRawat (sic)."
Mohena thanked her friends and family for the sweet surprise. This took to the comments section of the post and wrote, "This video is going to be one of my fav videos ever @mehtaamey.It was such a special moment. I was totally and so beautifully surprised. Thank you so so much @vasundhrarajlaxmi you made my pregnancy days 10 times more special your hard work paid off and you made the day so memorable with all your games , this lovely decor and all the fun we had. @suyeshrawat , Baby Sumo and I are so lucky to have you all in our lives (sic)," she wrote.
Sharing a picture with her sister-in-law Vasundhara Rajlaxmi, Mohena thanked her for throwing a surprise baby shower. She wrote, "Thank you for the most amazing Baby shower I could get @vasundhrarajlaxmi I was so so overwhelmed and so beautifully surprised by this. Will never forget this day. The games , the decor everything was just amazing. Love you so much (sic)."
