Pakistan Cricket Board CEO Wasim Khan said that Mohammad Amir and the coaching staff, including Misbah-ul-Haq, could be brought together to discuss their differences once the fast bowler has a conversation with Pakistan captain Babar Azam.
Efforts are being made for a rapprochement between fast bowler Mohammad Amir and the Pakistan coaching staff of the team, including head coach Misbah-ul-Haq, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) CEO Wasim Khan said on Saturday. Khan said that he met Amir in the United Kingdom where the latter poured out his grievances against the team management. "I also made it clear to him that the path he adopted was not right as a senior player. I think Amir is a valuable player for us even now and we will now make efforts to bring about rapprochement between him and the coaches," said Khan on the Youtube show Cricketbaaz. Amir retired from international cricket in December last year, citing differences between him and the coaches. Pakistan captain Babar Azam had recently said he is ready to speak to Amir about his issues and Khan said once that discussion takes place, the PCB will bring the two parties to a table and try to sort the matter out.More Related News
