The Ministry of Commerce and Industry announced a recall campaign for Kinder Surprise Maxi chocolate eggs, manufactured in Belgium, due to the possibility of contamination with salmonella bacteria. In a statement today, the Ministry explained that this procedure comes to ensure that the use of the product is immediately stopped and that it is returned to the outlet temporarily, stressing that it will continue to withdraw all quantities suspected of contamination with salmonella bacteria from all sales outlets in the country. The statement confirmed that coordination will be made with the company's agent to follow up on returns and communicate with customers to ensure that the procedures are implemented. The Ministry of Commerce and Industry urged all consumers to report any abuses or violations by communicating with the Consumer Protection and Combating Commercial Fraud Department via the call center number 16001, as well as the ministry's accounts on social media.
