‘Mobile banks’ to be set up in Karnataka to help students access online classes

These mobile banks will help students across Karnataka to access online classes amid the current Covid-19 lockdown situation in the state.
In order to bridge the digital divide that is very prevalent in Karnataka hampering studies of children, the Karnataka government has decided to set up ‘Mobile Banks’ with the help of voluntary organisations, to help students access online classes. Speaking at a press conference on Friday, S Suresh Kumar, Primary and Secondary Education Minister, said that Block Education Officers have roped in voluntary organisations, such as the Rotary International, the Lions Club, and have established mobile banks in their jurisdiction.More Related News
