Miscreants harass woman, thrash her husband, brother-in-law in Lucknow

A group of four men allegedly harassed a woman and also thrashed her husband and brother-in-law, folllowing a fight at a food joint in Lucknow.
A woman, resident of Lucknow's Gaughat, was allegedly harassed by a group of four men when she, along with her brother-in-law, went out at a food joint at Lucknow's Chowk Medical College. The accused also thrashed the woman's brother-in-law and husband.
As per the information, the incident happened when the woman who was accompanied by her brother-in-law was getting her food packed from an eatery at Lucknow's Chowk Medical College. Soon, an argument broke out between them over moving their respective vehicles. It is alleged that the victim's scooter had brushed past the accused's car.
Following an argument, the victim and her brother-in-law drove off from the spot but were allegedly followed by the accused. The accused then molested the woman from a moving car while she was on her brother-in-law’s scooter.
When they protested, the group of men thrashed the victim's brother-in-law. She then informed the matter to her husband, following which he reached the spot, but the accused thrashed him as well.
Fearing for life, the victim, her husband and brother-in-law escaped to the nearby police station and filed a complaint into the matter.
According to the DCP of Western Zone, Somen Verma, based on the complaint filed by the woman, a case has been registered into the matter. Meanwhile, police have launched a manhunt to nab the accused.
