Shahid Kapoor's film Jersey was released in cinemas today and it opened to a good response from the critics and audiences alike. The movie, directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, is the official Hindi remake of Nani's Telugu hit Jersey. Hours after the film released in the theatres, Shahid's wife, Mira Rajput, shared a heartfelt post for her husband on Instagram. The star wife spoke about the 'jersey of dreams' while sharing the post.

Sharing a photo with Shahid from the sets of Jersey, Mira captioned the post, "Jersey of Dreams. Memories that made the dream; We all lived it, and we all loved it. Thank you @amanthegill for making us feel at home every single day, and now you have basically taken over my house in exchange. All the very bestest to the most hardworking, dedicated team @shahidkapoor @amanthegill @gowtamnaidu @amaneeshmohan @mrunalthakur @parvez_pzee @james_gladwin_ (sic)."

Earlier today, Shahid Kapoor thanked actor Nani for praising his work in the Hindi remake of Jersey. After watching the film, Nani reviewed the Gowtam Tinnanuri directorial. "Watched #Jersey and our @gowtam19 again hit it out of the park. What performances and heart. @shahidkapoor @mrunal0801 #PankajKapoor sir and my boy Ronit This is true good cinema. Congratulations (sic)," tweeted Nani.
