The prominent minority face of the Bharatiya Janta Party, Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, resigned from the post of Minority Affairs Minister this evening.

This comes hours after Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised him at the Cabinet meeting for his contribution to the country and the people. Along with Naqvi, the PM heaped praise on Ram Chandra Prasad Singh at the meeting.
