Minor boy arrested for sexual abuse of 4-year-old girl in Tamil Nadu’s Tuticorin

The 14-year-old boy was playing with his neighbouring girl and her brother. He took the girl to his house under the pretext of playing with her, took her to a secluded place and sexually abused her.
A 14-year-old boy was arrested in Tamil Nadu’s Tuticorin district for sexually abusing a four-year-old girl in his village. The boy is a Class 9 student of a private school in Tuticorin and the minor girl he abused was his neighbour.
The boy’s father is no more and he lives with his mother. On Saturday, the girl and her brother were playing with the accused boy in front of his house.
Under the pretext of playing with her, the accused carried the girl into his house. Then, he took her to a secluded place near some thorny bushes and sexually abused her.
The abuse came to light later, after the girl cried in pain when her mother was giving her a bath.
She was taken to the Vilathikulam Government Hospital where doctors confirmed that the girl had been sexually abused.
The Vilathikulam all-women police lodged a complaint against the accused under the appropriate IPC sections based on the mother’s complaint.
As per a report by The Times of India, the boy was arrested on Sunday and sent to a home for children in conflict with the law in Tirunelveli.
