Ministry officials fine over 900 for Covid-19 violations

Doha: Ministry of Interior (MoI) officials have intensified efforts to take action against individuals violating various Covid-19 precautionary measures in the country and have reported 901 violations in the country on May 15.
559 were booked for not wearing masks in public with 158 persons referred for gathering in parks and Corniche. The Ministry officials also referred 164 people for not maintaining safe physical distancing and seven for not installing the Ehteraz application.
