Ministry of Education concludes virtual exhibition of National Science Research and Innovation Week

The Ministry of Education and Higher Education, in cooperation with Qatar National Research Fund, concluded the activities of the virtual exhibition of the National Science Research and Innovation Week, which was launched on November,1.
1569 students from 184 public and private schools in various academic levels took part in the scientific research competition for the academic year 2020-2021, and 810 research projects were submitted, of which 261 were qualified.
The National Science Research and Innovation Week is an annual national creative event that aims to celebrate scientific research, enhance and develop scientific and research skills among students and teachers, and instill a spirit of cooperation and competition, as well as providing the necessary support for them to achieve excellence and success, and providing the opportunity for distinguished research projects to participate in regional and international competitions.
The National Science Research and Innovation Week is one of the most prominent events and annually witnesses a growing increase in the number of participating schools and the number of attendees, and a development in the quality of research. The event also qualifies students for the university level and help them to keep pace with the requirements of the labor market, achieving progress and prosperity for their career and for the State of Qatar.
