HE the Minister of Transport Jassim bin Saif Al Sulaiti has praised the depth of bilateral relations between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Senegal, noting that they are moving forward towards advanced levels, especially in the field of civil aviation. In an interview with Senegalese TV, HE Al Sulaiti said that Qatar provides training grants to civil aviation employees in Senegal, through the Qatar-African Cooperation Program, organized by the General Civil Aviation Authority, in coordination and cooperation with the African Civil Aviation Commission (AFCAC), explaining that this program aims to raise the efficiency of human resources in the African continent, to strengthen cooperation frameworks with civil aviation authorities in their countries and to achieve common interests of both parties. He pointed out in this context that trainees from Senegal get the largest share. The Minister also stressed that Senegal is one of the countries that is witnessing an expansion in its markets and the level of services it provides in the field of civil aviation, which heralds a promising future for it.
