Doha, Qatar: Minister of State for International Cooperation, Her Excellency Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater, met today with His Excellency Andrew McCoubrey, Director of the Pakistan and Afghanistan Department at the British Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, on the sidelines of the International Humanitarian Forum in London.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed cooperation relations between the two countries and ways to support and enhance them, and discussed the humanitarian and development conditions in Afghanistan, especially in the fields of health and education, in addition to exchanging views on joint cooperation in humanitarian and development projects in Afghanistan.

On the sidelines of the forum, Her Excellency the Minister of State for International Cooperation also met with Baroness Sayeeda Warsi, Conservative Party Member of the British House of Lords.

During the meeting, the latest developments in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories were discussed, as well as ways to confront Islamophobia, in addition to a number of topics of common interest.
