Mike Richards and Mayim Bialik named new "Jeopardy!" hosts
CBSN
"Jeopardy!" has found two new hosts for the beloved quiz show. Mike Richards, the show's executive producer, will succeed Alex Trebek in hosting the daily syndicated game show, while actor Mayim Bialik will take over primetime specials and spinoff series, Sony announced Wednesday.
The show spent eight months searching for a new host following the death of Trebek, who died last November after a battle with pancreatic cancer. "We took this decision incredibly seriously. A tremendous amount of work and deliberation has gone into it, perhaps more than has ever gone into the selection of hosts for a show — deservedly so because it's Jeopardy! and we are following the incomparable Alex Trebek," Sony Chairman Ravi Ahuja said in a statement Wednesday.
