Alipurduar district BJP president Ganga Prasad Sharma has announced his decision to leave the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and join the Trinamool Congress, protesting against Alipurduar MP John Barla's demand for a separate North Bengal UT. Seven top BJP leaders from Alipurduar district BJP, including Ganga Prasad Sharma, arrived in Kolkata on Saturday to join TMC. BJP workers in the district are in a state of dissension after the news of Ganga Prasad Sharma migrating to TMC spread.More Related News
