Bumrah has picked up only 12 wickets in 13 matches, the lowest tally for him in the IPl since 2015. The star bowler struggled to be among the wickets in the first half of IPL 2022 as he lacked the support that he usually gets from his fellow MI bowlers as the 5-time champions were not able to assemble a fearsome bowling unit after a lopsided show at the mega auction.
However, the star India pacer found form towards the end of the season even as Mumbai Indians missed out on a berth in the playoffs.
