Met warns of low visibility on coast Friday

Weather inshore until 6pm on Friday will be misty to foggy at places at first and the temperatures during daytime may become moderate with some clouds, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report, warning of poor visibility expected at places at first. Offshore, it will be misty to foggy with some clouds with poor visibility at times, the report added. Wind inshore will be variable less than 5 knot at first, that may become mainly southeasterly 5 to 15 knot. Offshore, wind will be mainly southeasterly 5 to 15 knot. Visibility will be 4 to 8/2 kilometers or less at places at first. Sea state inshore will be 1 to 2 feet. Offshore it will be 2 to 4 feet.
