As per the weather department, an induced low-pressure area lies over northwest Rajasthan and its neighbourhood, which will lead to a change in the weather conditions throughout the state.
Bhopal on Thursday recorded its day temperature at 28.3 degrees Celsius, 2.4 degrees more than the normal mark. Meanwhile, the night temperature in the city was recorded at 14.8 degrees Celsius, 3.4 degrees more than the normal mark.
The lowest minimum temperature in the state was recorded in Mandla and Khajuraho at 9 degrees Celsius.
The Meteorological Department, Bhopal circle has forecast a clear sky and dry weather in the city.
Day and night temperatures are expected to hover around 29 degrees Celsius and 11 degrees Celsius respectively.
As per the prediction by the weather department, parts of the city including Sidhi, Singrauli, Bhind and Morena are expected to witness thunder and lightning. Check latest IMD weather forecast here.
