Singer Krishnakumar Kunnath, popularly known as KK, passed away in Kolkata on May 31. He was rushed to a hospital after his concert and was declared dead soon after. KK continues to live on in our hearts. Many in the industry have expressed their shock over KK's untimely demise. Singer Shilpa Rao, who has performed with KK and has collaborated with him for one of the most iconic songs, Khuda Jaane, is as shocked as anyone of us. Speaking exclusively with IndiaToday.in, Shilpa mourned his death and reiterated that Khuda Jaane would be incomplete for her.
"I was fortunate enough to perform with him when I was starting out as a musician. It was an absolute honour to share the stage with him and sing Khuda Jaane," Shilpa Rao told IndiaToday.in. She added, "He was such a beautiful human being. When he would enter the room, it felt like today was going to be a great day. He was a very dedicated artist and very dedicated towards his family too. He was one of the most beautiful human beings in the music business. I say this without a shadow of a doubt. Khuda Jaane will be incomplete from today, I think."
