In a first, the Congress party will set up around 9,100 'self-membership kiosks' across the country as part of its ongoing membership drive. This comes ahead of Assembly elections to five states scheduled for next year.

According to highly placed sources, the Congress will roll out its digital membership via kiosks plan within a week. Around 9,100 self-membership kiosks - stand-alone booths - will be set up across the country wherein the public can walk in and get themselves enrolled into the Congress.
