Meghan Markle delays premiere of Netflix cooking show due to Los Angeles wildfires
NY Post
The release of Meghan Markle’s cooking show on Netflix has been delayed.
The streamer announced Sunday that “With Love, Meghan” will now premiere on March 4 instead of January 15 due to the deadly wildfires that have devastated Los Angeles.
“I’m thankful to my partners at Netflix for supporting me in delaying the launch, as we focus on the needs of those impacted by the wildfires in my home state of California,” the Duchess of Sussex, 43, said in a statement.
The eight-episode series will follow the former royal in the kitchen with some of her famous friends, including Mindy Kaling and her “Suits” co-star Abigail Spencer.
Markle and Prince Harry, 40, recently met with victims of the LA fires and first responders who have been battling the blazes at the Pasadena Convention Center on Friday.
The Post understands it was not a planned press visit but rather an effort to make a meaningful difference in their community while trying to avoid causing disruption.
