The Meghalaya government has constituted three regional committees headed by cabinet-level ministers to resolve decades-long boundary dispute with Assam. The committees will examine the present status of the six areas of differences.
As an overture to resolve its decades-long boundary dispute with Assam, the Meghalaya government has constituted three regional committees which will be headed by cabinet-level ministers. The regional committees have been formed to examine the present status of the six areas of differences Tarabari, Gizang and Hahim in West Khasi Hills district, Boklapara and Khanapara-Pilingkata in Ri Bhoi district, and Ratacherra in East Jaintia Hills district.More Related News
