Several parts of Chennai remained underwater till late Thursday due to the rain-triggered flood situation. The heavy rainfall filled almost the entire city with water, including downtown Mylapore, and heavily swamped several parts of Velachery. Rain water even entered state-run hospitals in KK Nagar and Chromepet. However, in such perilous times, some heroes without capes continued to serve the city without any fear.
