Suren a 17-year-old boy from Haryana’s Hisar, clinched a gold medal in the International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics (IOAA). He not only made his parents and country proud but proved that “When there is a will there’s a way.”
In a great master-stroke for India, four participants from the country secured gold medals at the International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics (IOAA) 2021 and one won a silver medal. The gold medallists are Chahel Singh from Pune, Anilesh Bansal from Faridabad, Arhaan Ahmad from Meerut, and Suren from Hisar, while Dhruv Ahlawat from Mumbai won Silver.
