Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will tie the knot with Gurpreet Kaur, a doctor by profession, in an intimate ceremony at his official residence in the presence of his close friends and relatives on Thursday.

Aam Aadmi Party National Convenor and Delhi Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal, along with other celebrities and politicians will be attending the wedding ceremony. Bhagwant Mann’s mother has reached the CM residence from their native village Satauj in Punjab's Sangrur for the occasion.

WHO IS GURPREET KAUR?

32-year-old Gurpreet hails from Haryana but lives in Punjab’s Rajpura. She is the third daughter of her parents, who have an agricultural background.

Her family originally hails from Haryana’s Pehowa town but is now settled in Rajpura, Punjab. Gurpreet’s family is in Chandigarh for a week.

According to the sources, Gurpreet Kaur was seen with Bhagwant Mann's family members on a number of occasions, including his swearing-in ceremony.
