Meerut: Fight erupts between two groups over property ownership

A fight erupted between two groups in Meerut regarding the ownership of house in Mod Khurda Village. The video of the incident has gone viral on social media.
A dispute between two parties regarding ownership of a house turned violent in the Meerut District of Uttar Pradesh when one of the claimants used a tractor to bulldoze the property wall, which led to a physical altercation.
As per the reports, the incident occurred in Mod Khurda Village in the Bahsuma area, where the two parties, one led by a Prahlad Singh and the other by the duo of Jitendra and Subodh, confronted each other claiming to be the rightful owner of the house.
Each person had brought a part of the house but a dispute arose regarding the partition in the property which eventually turned violent, leading to the incident in which a tractor was used to demolish a part of the wall being constructed in the house. The video of the incident’s occurrence was recorded by neighbours and went viral on social media.
Superintendent of Police (Rural), Keshav Kumar said that taking cognizance of the matter and the viral video being circulated, a case has been registered against the assailants and the injured have been admitted to a local hospital for treatment.
