Medical breakthroughs discovered on International Space Station

Conducting experiments in microgravity at the International Space Station has allowed scientists to make medical breakthroughs with the potential to help countless people on Earth.
Over the years, pharmaceutical company Merck has launched several protein crystallization research projects to the International Space Station. Scientists have said observing the proteins in zero gravity could benefit cancer treatments on Earth. Bret Baier currently serves as FOX News Channel's (FNC) anchor and executive editor of Special Report with Bret Baier (weeknights at 6-7PM/ET), chief political anchor of the network and co-anchor of the network’s election coverage. "The drug that was developed down here on Earth that has been so phenomenally successful, Keytruda, we have taken that to space in zero G," Nelson said. "They have been able to form those crystals in such a larger and more uniform pattern."
