MEA announces additional flights from Ukraine amid rise in tensions

The MEA said additional flights are being organised in view of the continued high level of tensions in Ukraine.
The Ministry of External Affairs on Monday announced additional flights from Ukraine due to increased uncertainty and rise in tension.
The MEA in a statement said, "In view of the continued high level of tensions and uncertainties of the current situation in Ukraine, additional flights are being organised."
The details of available flights are as below: * PS1395 Kyiv - Delhi on Feb 25, timing 07:00-19:15 * PS393 Kyiv - Delhi Feb 27, timing 19:35-07:50+1 * PS1395 Kyiv - Delhi Feb 27, timing 07:00-19:15 * PS393 Kyiv - Delhi March 06, timing 19:35-07:50+1
Presently, airlines like Air Arabia, Fly Dubai, Qatar Airways etc. are also operating their routine flights from Ukraine to India, the statement read.
India had issued an advisory for its citizens in Ukraine to temporarily leave the country before February 20 amid rising tensions with Russia.
As parents of some Indian students in Ukraine expressed concerns over the current situation in the country.
Earlier, the Ministry of Civil Aviation removed restrictions on the number of flights and seats between India-Ukraine to facilitate travel of Indians from the eastern European nation.
