McGill University buildings evacuated due to suspicious package; some classes cancelled

Some classes are cancelled at McGill University Tuesday morning after multiple buildings were evacuated due to a 911 call about a suspicious package.
In a tweet, the university said Dawson Hall, McCall MacBain Arts, and the Leacock buildings were evacuated due to the incident and that classes were cancelled in those buildings.
Montreal police said they received a 911 call at around 7:30 a.m. for a report of a suspicious package and their tactical team is on scene analyzing it.
Police did not release any further details about the nature of the 911 call.
