McCarthy rules out amnesty for illegal immigrants after Biden calls at State of the Union
Fox News
House Speaker Kevin McCarthy is again ruling out any form of amnesty for illegal immigrants, just as the administration is again pushing for a deal involving a pathway.
"That is the case, because you can't have immigration reform without first securing the border," he said. "How can you trust? The Biden administration and congressional Democrats have called for citizenship for millions of illegal immigrants as part of a reform to fix what they say is a broken immigration system. He can be reached at adam.shaw2@fox.com or on Twitter.
