Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid floral tributes to Mahatma Gandhi at Delhi's Rajghat on Gandhi Jayanti, even as President Dropdi Murmu urged everyone to follow in Gandhi's footsteps.
All across India, national leaders are paying tribute to the father of the nation on his 153rd birth anniversary. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also offered floral tributes to Mahatma Gandhi at Delhi's Rajghat on Sunday.

PM Modi also took to Twitter to wish everyone on Gandhi Jayanti and said the celebrations this year is "even more special because India is marking Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav". He also urged everyone to buy Khadi and handicraft products as a tribute to Mahatma Gandhi.

Meanwhile, President Dropdi Murmu has also written on Twitter and urged everyone to follow Mahatma Gandhi's footsteps and walk the path of truth and non-violence. She also said his birth anniversary serves as an occasion for everyone to "rededicate themselves to the values of his life".
